Last Chance to Pass SB 52:
KANSAS FILM AND MEDIA TAX CREDIT
Contact your Kansas Representative and Senators
HOW TO CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS AND WHAT TO SAY:
The Kansas Film Tax Credit bill (Senate Bill 52) passed the Senate in 2025. The 2026 legislative session begins January 12th. During the 2026 session it is on the floor of the Kansas House of Representatives and the bill must pass before the session ends or it is dead.
We need your help to contact your Senators and Representatives and encourage them to pass the bill.
Please make every effort to contact your Representative and Senator at their work email address and any personal email listed on the legislative website. Their email addresses are available here:
http://www.kslegislature.org/li/b2025_26/members/
If you do not know your Representative or Senator, you can find them at this link:
https://openstates.org and enter “Kansas” at “Find Your Legislators.”
Email is the best way to communicate, however, after the session begins, you can call using the Statehouse phone numbers at the link above. Our communication should be targeted to your legislators, so do not send an email to all legislators. They usually do not respond to emails outside their district, although in larger metro areas you can communicate with nearby legislators.
Talking Point Suggestions: Be brief.
